ARTHUR ALEXANDER graduated from Case Institute of Technology
in Cleveland, Ohio where he majored in Chemical Engineering and Engineering
Management. Later, he completed graduate studies in Biochemistry at
Cornell Medical College in New York City (Sloan-Kettering Biosciences
Division). He served as assistant to C. Chester Stock, Ph.D., Scientific
Director of the Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research in New
York City, where he managed the Experimental Chemotherapy Program before
being appointed Associate Director of the Childrens Cancer Research
Foundation in Boston, Massachusetts.
Arthur subsequently met and became Scientific Advisor in Immunotherapy
to the late Virginia Livingston, M.D., Founder of the Livingston Foundation
Medical Center in San Diego, California. He was recently appointed Vice-President,
Assistant to the President and continues to serve as Scientific Advisor
to both the Livingston Foundation for Cancer Research and Related Diseases
as well as the Medical Center.
He is a member of many professional societies including the New York
Academy of Sciences, the American Chemical Society, the Royal Society
of Chemists and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemists. He
has authored many scientific papers and in 1998 authored The Curious
Man, the Life and Works of the late Hans A. Nieper, M.D. of Hannover,
Germany. His latest book, Livingston Immunotherapy (In Press),
addresses the science and the Clinical Immunotherapy, which are the
foundation of the Livingston Foundation Medical Center programs. These
include specific and general vaccines and antigens to enhance the immune
system to effectively fight life-threatening chronic diseases such as
Cancer, Lupus and Scleroderma, a very important immune-supportive nutritional
program and a psychological component designed to reduce stress through
counseling.
