| LORRAINE DAY, M.D. received her Medical Degree
from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine
in 1969. She continued at the same University for the post graduate
training in Orthopedic Surgery and became an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon,

injuries.
For 15 years she was on the faculty of the University of California,
San Francisco, School of Medicine as Associate Professor and Vice-Chairman

Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital. She is the author or co-author
of numerous medical journal articles as well as many chapters in medical
textbooks.
