| FRANK CUNY, PRES. CALIFORNIA CITIZENS FOR HEALTH FREEDOM
has a B.A. Degree in Social Science and a second B.A. in Administration
from Sacramento State University, California.
His professional background included 4 years with the United States
Air Force, 4 years as an Elementary School Teacher, 8 years as the Executive
Director of Community Poverty Programs, 15 years as the Director of
the Residential Treatment Program for youth with severe emotional and
behavioral problems and a program focused on Natural Health.
A national organization called Citizens For Health was formed 8 years
ago as a reaction against the FDA proposed regulations that would have
given the FDA control over natural nutritional products. Mr. Cuny was
elected at that time to organize the citizens’ grassroots opposition
to these regulations. He has served as the State Director in California
as a full time volunteer. As Director he has been in key leadership
roles to a number of state and federal issues affecting citizens’
rights to natural products and Alternative Treatments.
Frank is the Legislative Advocate at the State Capital in Sacramento
for an Alliance of many organizations including the Cancer Control Society.
He will speak on the major developments in the possibility of passage
of a Medical Freedom Bill in California that would enable Physicians
to legally offer Alternative Treatments for Cancer and other diseases.
Mr. Cuny will speak on Update On Cancer Legislation &
Medical Freedom Bills.
