| FRIEDRICH DOUWES, M.D., University of Marburg, Germany, interned at Philadelphia
General Hospital. In 1970, he received a fellowship in hematology & oncology
from Hahnemann University. For almost 10 years he was senior oncologist
at the University Hospital of G–ttingen, Germany. While there, he authored
numerous scientific papers on the biology and immunology of cancer. Not satisfied with the clinical results he attained with orthodox treatments, in the early 70's Dr. Douwes began to integrate alternative methods into his practice. In 1980, he founded the first self-help group and the first Psych-Oncological Department at Germany's Sonnenburg Hospital, where he became medical director. Between 1981 and 1987, Dr. Douwes completed his integrative cancer concept, a synthesis of conventional and complementary cancer therapies. In 1991, he founded St. George Hospital in Bad Aibling, featuring hyperthermia, immunotherapy and electro-therapy as standard cancer treatment modalities. St. George Hospital treats more than 5,000 cancer patients each year. Many have received remarkable results. In this video presentation, Dr. Douwes shows how he does it. |
